DESCRIPTION:Venue: VNS Primary Section\nThe inauguration ceremony of the refurbished block was conducted with great enthusiasm and pride. The event marked a significant milestone in the development of the school’s infrastructure and its commitment to providing a better learning environment for students. \nThe ceremony commenced at 1100 hrs with the arrival of the chief guest\, Mr M.Ikram Chaudhary Chairman VNS Board of Governors\,who was warmly welcomed by the Principal\, VP \,staff\, and students. \nThe Principal Mrs Saman Khawar Abdullah expressed gratitude to the Chairman VNS\, all the GB members and school building committee whose efforts made the project successful. The chief guest\, Mr M.Ikram Chaudhary then formally inaugurated the refurbished block by offering Dua and cutting the ribbon followed by unveiling the plaque with Vice Principal Mrs Uzma Sherazi\, Mr Nazir (Cashier )and Mr Shamroze (Finance Manager).\nThe Chairman awarded these three staff members with certificates and cash prizes as a token of appreciation of their hard work for the project.\nThe new block comprises if 11 x classrooms\, equipped with modern amenities. Students presented VNS anthem and mili songs to celebrate the occasion\, which added color and joy to the event.\nThe ceremony concluded with a word of thanks by Ms Mahjabin Bhatti Headmistress primary section acknowledging everyone who contributed for this cause.\nRefreshments were served afterwards and guests were invited to tour the new facilities. \nOverall\, today’s inauguration ceremony was a memorable event that inspired both students and teachers to continue striving for excellence.

Each recipient was adorned with a sash\, symbolizing their commitment to lead their respective domains with enthusiasm and excellence. The Editors of the English and Urdu Magazines were also honored on this occasion\, each receiving their sash in recognition of their creative leadership and responsibility in representing the student voice through their publications.\nThe event began with the recitation of the Holy Quran\, followed by the formal Oath-Taking Ceremony\, symbolizing the spirit of service and accountability. The Principal addressed the gathering\, extending heartfelt congratulations to the newly appointed council\, and reminded them that true leadership lies in humility\, responsibility\, and teamwork. Her inspiring words encouraged the young office bearers to lead by example and work selflessly for the betterment of the school community.\nEarlier\, the student body elections were conducted in a democratic manner\, allowing students to experience the essence of participatory leadership. The trainees were presented with cases focusing on bullying in the classes\, how to keep the students engaged to avoid disruptions and accomadating students with special needs.\nThe trainees developed potential solutions through an Interactive session encouraging active participation and engagement. \nMrs. Saman Abdullah\, the facilitator\, wrapped up the session by promoting self-reflection and application\, enabling participants to integrate theirs newfound knowledge into practice. The session was highly informative and productive.

DESCRIPTION:Viqar-un-Nisa Noon Girls Higher Secondary Institute\, Rawalpindi\, in collaboration with Cantab Publishers and APPSCA\, held a single-day Teachers’ Training Session on 24 May 2025. Around 150 educators from FBISE-affiliated private schools attended. The session focused on updates to the National Curriculum Policy 2022–23 and Federal Board guidelines\, including SLO-based teaching and new exam policies.\nKey speakers included Mr. Ashraf Hiraj and APPSCA officials\, who highlighted recent reforms and praised VNS’s educational standards. Principal Mrs. Saman Khawar Abdullah emphasized the institute’s commitment to teacher development through the VNS Women Training Institute and announced future collaborative training initiatives.
